Google Free Ad Credit For Covid Released. How to access it, and what about FB, Bing & others?

About 2 months ago, after being tipped off by our Google reps, Nimbull told all our clients about an impending Google grant which could assist with the challenges presented by the recent pandemic.

Today they released details for this ad credit which can be used towards future ad spend this year. After December 31, 2020, this ad credit will expire and any unused portion will be removed from the account.

How To Check the Amount and Apply Your Covid-19 Grant

You can find your ad credit on the “Promotions” page in your Google Ads account. To view it, log in and click the TOOLS icon at the top of the page, then under “Billing,” select Promotions.

How Much Are Advertisers Receiving For Covid Relief?

The amount will vary by the advertiser, based on historical spend. Nimbull has observed that Ad Credits are offered in increments of $120, $380 and $1,020.

Facebook/Instagram Covid-19 FRee Ad Credits

Like Google ads, Facebook Ads (they also power Instagram) is continuing to support small businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic by offering $100M in ad credits, making it easier in these challenging times.

Eligible small businesses will be able to receive Facebook ad credits.

Linkedin & Twitter – Not offering Ad credits For Covid-19

Unlike Google and Facebook, Nimbull has not been contacted by reps of LinkedIn and Twitter, or found any documentation, which outlines free ad credits during Covid-19.

Linkedin, owned by Microsoft is assisting in other ways, and has a dedicated hub landing page for COVID-19 assistance. Check out their free online courses, hiring help and more.
