We were on the edge of our seats all night. The innovation work we’ve delivered over the past 12 months — especially in AI and automation — has been exceptional, productising our AI offering to save clients hours of admin time while driving real revenue growth. We didn’t take home the award; competition was fierce across 14 phenomenal finalist businesses. But we’re proud to be part of the Sydney business community and to stand among this year’s finalists.
The speeches on the night were a highlight.
Paul Nicolaou, Executive Director of Business Sydney, was in typically hilarious form — getting the whole room on its feet swinging white towels above their heads. He drew brilliant, off-the-cuff answers out of winners as they collected their awards, at one point asking a midwife which month most Sydney babies are conceived!
Joseph Carrozzi AM, President of Business NSW, spoke to the tough conditions many businesses are navigating right now and the resilience on display across the room, noting that the next generation of business owners — in 2036 — will look back and draw inspiration from what this year’s finalists and winners have achieved.
Sydney by Kayak was the night’s big winner, taking home three awards including Sustainability and Customer Satisfaction. Congratulations to them and to every winner on the night.
